Privacy Policy

Which information this website receives, why we keep it and how you stay in control of it.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

venuemix takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This page describes which data we process on venuemix.info, for which purposes and which rights the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 give you. It applies to everyone who visits the website and to people who contact us by email or through the contact form.

1. Who is responsible

This website is run by venuemix, 14 Brayford Wharf North, Lincoln LN1 1YW, United Kingdom, which decides how the data described on this page is used. Questions about it can be sent to hello@venuemix.info or asked by telephone on 01522 570134; they concern every page under venuemix.info and the messages that reach us through it.

2. Rights of data subjects

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, a message to hello@venuemix.info is enough. To be sure that we are dealing with the right person, we may ask you to confirm your identity; our answer follows within the statutory period and is free of charge.

Besides contacting us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.

3. Why we process data

The processing serves the operation and security of venuemix.info, the handling of the requests you send us, the preparation of offers and the fulfilment of duties that arise from a contract or from the law.

Where the law requires a legal ground, we rely on your consent, on a contract or the steps preceding it, on an obligation imposed on us, or on our legitimate interest in operating this site safely. Providing data is voluntary, but an enquiry without contact details cannot be answered.

4. Data security

Suitable technical and organisational measures guard the information we hold against unauthorised access, alteration and accidental loss. Where the browser allows it, what you send through the site travels in encrypted form.

Even careful protection cannot make data transfer over open networks entirely safe, and we do not promise absolute security. Internally, only those dealing with your request have access to the correspondence.

5. Service providers and transfers abroad

We do not sell personal data. It is shared only with the providers who host this website and handle our email, acting on our instructions under a data processing agreement, and with authorities where the law obliges us.

Some of the providers we work with may keep or process data in another country. When that happens, the transfer takes place only with the safeguards that the rules on data protection require for it.

6. Which data we process

Every page request is recorded on the server together with the address of the requesting device, the time, the file opened and the browser used. This information is needed to deliver the page and to detect faults or misuse.

If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we store your name, your email address, any telephone number you choose to give and the content of your message, in order to deal with your request.

7. Cookies and browser storage

Only what the pages need in order to work is stored. No advertising networks, no tracking across websites and no visitor profiles are involved, and nothing about your visit is passed on for marketing.

Stored entries can be reviewed and deleted at any time in the settings of your browser, where you can also block them for the future. Blocking everything may affect the parts of the site that depend on such entries.

8. How long we keep data

Information is kept no longer than its purpose calls for. Once that purpose has been met and no duty to keep it remains, we erase it or remove everything that would link it to you.

Server logs are held by our hosting provider for a short period and are then removed automatically. Correspondence stays with us while the matter is open and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to the same question.

9. Changes to this policy

We revise this notice whenever the way we handle data changes. The current wording is always published here, and the date at the top tells you when it was last updated.

Each new version replaces the previous one without a separate notice. Where a change concerns processing that depends on your consent, we obtain fresh consent before it applies.
