These scenes show the materials and steps behind our services: cabling, lighting positions, mixing and control. Each one reflects a stage of work that clients rarely see once the show is running.
Studio set with cameras in position
Camera positions and set elements are marked on the floor plan before anything is installed, so lenses, lights and talent all have clear sightlines when recording begins.
Vision mixing from the control room
The control desk is arranged around the director's routine. Switching, shading and monitoring sit within reach, which keeps multi-camera shows smooth and reduces mistakes under pressure.
Lighting rig above a concert stage
Fixtures are hung to a plot drawn in advance, with rigging points checked against the venue's limits. Programming is then done on the desk before the band arrives.
Front-of-house mix during a live show
The mix position is chosen for what the audience hears, not only for convenience. System tuning and microphone choices are settled during soundcheck so the first song already sounds balanced.
Production tent at a festival
Monitors, comms and schedules gather in one place so crew can respond quickly. Signal flow is mapped beforehand, which makes faults simple to locate when several stages run together.
Labelled cabling backstage
Cable runs are coiled, taped and labelled by function. When a change is needed mid-event, the crew can follow the route without guessing and without interrupting the programme.

Fourteen years of studio and event work
venuemix began in Lincoln in 2012 and has spent the years since working with studios, festivals, stage shows and private events. We do not count jobs as a score. What matters is that each production gets a plan, a prepared crew and clear documentation.
